Podcaster submitted to App Store
Last Friday I submitted Podcaster to the App Store. It was a long and tedious process. I put it in the international store for the price of $4.99. Since then, I have made some reliability improvements but I am not able to post any updates yet so expect an update very soon after release. If you are a beta tester or want to try Podcaster now, email me for instructions. I still have some Ad Hoc spots left. Hopefully it wont take too long to get into the store. I am hoping to see it there this week. Let's hope for the best.

I hope Apple accepts the app and doesn't take too long, I know another app took a whole 2.5 weeks before it was in the store!
Anyway, thanks for the info, I have used Podxaster Native Beta and it's great. I'm just about to grab the latest version (I currently have RC2, your Twitter informed me there was a new one 4 hours ago)

I would like to try it ad-hoc.
The app looks great! But the $4.99 price point is a little too high for me. Especially since the site itself (podcaster.fm) works so well.
I think $4.99 is a fair starting price. I have put in countless hours of work into building a great piece of software. The price is completely reasonable. Remember that upkeep on an app like this is high. I have to pay for hosting and bandwidth. Podcaster.fm is going to remain free and if that works for you, then by all means go ahead and use it. That's what it's there for. For some users (iPod Touch users) streaming is not always possible so native Podcaster is a great solution for them.
I would buy this app for $4.99. Absolutely
